| G/T Brains Are Safe In Our Hands |
Elementary
The elementary school level, G/T students receive services from our G/T certified librarians. Once a week students attend G/T class to particpate in enriching activities and lessons geared to strengthen and ignite their special modes of learning. Along with weekly engaging learning opportunities, twice a year students are offered a full, exciting day to explore the creative arts (HISD Winter Festival) as well as explorations in the areas of math and science (HISD Spring Fling).
Secondary
For middle school and high school students, advanced placement courses in the core subject areas are offered. In addition to advanced placement courses, secondary students can also participate in HISD's robotics program.
