Harlandale ISD and the San Antonio Museum of Art teamed up to give students a cultural and artistic experience like no other. Hundreds of families from Adams ES, Columbia Heights ES and Gilbert ES visited the museum during its “First Sundays for Families” on February 3. They celebrated the Chinese New Year there with a special lion dance performance and learned to make clay dragons, foil art and more. The children were also entertained by a storytelling session about the Legend of the White Snake and an interactive tour of Aphrodite and the Gods of Love.
