Harlandale ISD rolled out the red carpet for its eight newest members of the Hall of Fame. It was an evening filled with nostalgic stories, laughter, tears, great music and delicious food. On November 2 at McCollum High School, the district was proud to induct:

Six of our honorees couldn’t be prouder to have graduated from the Harlandale ISD. Each inductee has their own unique background, including a World War II veteran, interior designer, longtime educators and non-profit organization pioneers. The two community service inductees have dedicated years to making significant contributions to our “14 square miles of excellence.”
The McCollum HS Jazz Band, directed by Patrick Hayes, entertained guests as they enjoyed hord’oeuvres in the courtyard. All the food, including the exquisite dinner, was prepared and served by Chef John Stewart and the students in the Culinary Arts program. The Harlandale MS National Junior Honor Society and the McCollum HS National Technical Honor Society also helped in serving.
