As the sun set at the end of the first week of school, Harlandale ISD was lit up by the glow of Friday night lights. The Harlandale High School Indians faced the South San Bobcats on August 31.
HHS won the coin toss and deferred to the second half, giving South San their first chance at the end zone. The Bobcats fought for every yard but were only able to score one touchdown the entire game. The Indians defense kept them from the end zone while the offense ran the field leading to the maroon and gold victory of 31-6.
