Ten students from the south side of San Antonio were recently awarded $500 college scholarships thanks to Familias en Accion. The Harlandale-based community group presented the seniors with their certificates February 5 at Harlandale High School. The money was made available through the 5th Annual Healthy Adolescent Initiative from the Texas Human and Health Services department.
