Just days before the district shut down for Spring Break, dozens of students got to leave campus for special field trips.
Kindergartners from Adams Elementary took a trip downtown March 7th to see a production of Rapunzel at the Majik Theater. They stuck around a little longer and had the opportunity to meet with the actors, but the excitement didn’t end there. The students had lunch at Hemisphere Park and were able to enjoy the playground before heading back to school.
That same day second graders from Stonewall Elementary took a trip to the San Antonio Zoo and Wright Elementary School’s 4th and 5th grade classes were able to get down, way down into the Natural Bridge Caverns. The students participated in a Discovery Tour that took them through the cave for a lesson on the forming of stalactites, stalagmites, bat roosts, and humidity levels.
