Indians inch by Wildcats, head to next round

The Harlandale High School’s Boys Varsity Soccer Team is heading to the next round of the playoffs after inching by Gregory Portland on March 28. The game went down to the wire – three times!

The Indians and the Wildcats held each other back from getting in the net during regular play. Then, in overtime, they tied it up at 1-1 resulting in penalty kicks to decide the winner of the match. Harlandale’s goalie Reuben Garcia was able to stop Gregory Portland’s last penalty kick and help the Indians advance to the third round of state playoffs with a score 4-3.

HHS will face Victoria West April 5 at 7:00 p.m. in Seguin Tickets for the game will be $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students
