Rowdy the Roadrunner was in full action pumping up the crowd as the UTSA football team began its second spring scrimmage at Memorial Stadium on April 6. The orange and blue ventured to Harlandale for a special promotional game in hopes of building community spirit for their home college team. The event was much more than just a game though. Fans were able to take their picture with a mock-up of a fully dressed player and even try on some of the gear with a jersey. Students had the chance to talk with academic recruiters about applying for UTSA. Football recruiters were also on hand to talk with potential prospects. Meantime, players ran through drills and plays on the field, then took time to sign autographs afterward.
