The Harlandale ISD Board of Trustees honored some of the best students in the district at its May 20th meeting. Each campus had selected a male and female Student of the Year, then, one by one, they were called up, presented with a certificate and posed for pictures with the Board and Superintendent Rey Madrigal. This year’s Campus Students of the Year are:

Also at the Board Meeting, nurses were recognized for National Nurses; Region 20 presented Gillette Elementary with a certificate for being named a Title I, Part A Distinguished School; and all the Bright Idea Mini Grant winners received a special trophy.
