Whether they are heading to college, the military or the workforce, the next phase of their lives started the night of June 14 after hundreds of graduates from Harlandale High School crossed the stage at Freeman Coliseum to accept their high school diplomas.
“I have a full-time job and a second job on the weekend, but I plan on going to Palo Alto College. I am excited but nervous that I accomplished my goal [of graduating from high school],” said Celeste Vela.
Through a wide smile Cody Valens also talked about the next chapter of his life. “I plan on studying Architecture at UTSA. I am just really excited about graduating.”
A total of 428 HHS students graduated.
