Students who need to improve on their language skills got some extra help during the English as a Second Language Summer Program at Shulze Elementary. This program allowed kids to practice English by performing skits, taking part in projects, journal writing, arts & crafts, and speaking in public.
“You can see a difference,” stated Ashley Salinas, UTSA Volunteer.
“I like learning English,” said a 4th grade ESL participate. “The writing is fun and I’m making a lot of friends.”
