Cub Scouts from across the Harlandale ISD spent Saturday, October 26 exploring, playing, and learning at the Boy Scout Field Day at McGimsey Park. Kids from Rayburn, Columbia Heights, Adams and Collier elementary schools along with other scouts from around the city were invited to a fun-filled day where they learned about nature, made buttons, were taught to shoot a BB gun and bow and arrow, and played physical activities.

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating, citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
