The largest university in the nation now feels a little smaller thanks to a special visitor. On November 22, Barbara Langham stopped by the Scheh Center to talk to students all the University of Texas at Austin. Seventy kids in grades 6th-12th learned about Longhorn life, tuition, financial aid, and specific programs available. They also had their own questions answered, like one about extracurricular activities available. Langham also asked the students some questions and rewarded them with their very own UT t-shirt.
Scheh’s Counselor Victoria Bustos and APEX Teacher Leticia Rodriguez reached out to Ms. Langham and are planning to showcase college/careers to students on a monthly basis, coined as the “SCHEH TALKS” Speaker Series.
