While most Harlandale families enjoyed their day off from school on Saturday, February 8th, some seniors and their parents were up early, taking part in the Student Aid Saturday session at Harlandale High School.
More than 100 people gathered in the cafeteria to learn all about paying for college. Financial experts were on hand to help them fill out their FAFSA form, tell them about scholarships and answer any questions.
Student Aid Saturdays are made possible by the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, SA2020, Firstmark Credit Union, Advise TX, the San Antonio Education Partnership and Café College. There are several more information sessions coming up. To learn the dates and locations, go to www.studentaidsa.org.
