Two Kingsborough Middle School teachers are headed to the Super Bowl for effectively promoting dairy.

KSHAC Program Advisor Cynthia Guerra and KSHAC Sponsor Gloria Larios participated in the 3rd Annual Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor Bulletin Board Contest and took home the Grand Prize out of 57 entries from across Texas.

The Grand Prize includes two tickets to Super Bowl 51, two nights of hotel and a $1,500 American Express gift card for travel.

The bulletin board is Pikachu themed and it creatively features 3D cut outs of dairy items and images of other healthy food options. Additionally, the board lists the six steps the KSHAC team took to be a part of Fuel Up to Play 60.

“This is the first time we submit so we were just hoping to get third place,” Larios said. “We are beyond excited to be the Grand Prize winner and to be the only team from San Antonio to place.”

Way to go, Coach Guerra and Ms. Larios!
