Terrell Wells Elementary School recently hosted its third annual Trojan Fest.

Hundreds of Terrell Wells MS students, McCollum HS students and community members came together to enjoy an evening full of delicious food, festivities and student performances.

Attendees helped raise funds for future school field trips by taking part in mechanical bull riding, toy fishing, water tank dunking and enjoying hamburgers, nachos, turkey legs and more!

This year, the school added a petting zoo, which was a huge hit with the younger siblings. The performances of mariachi, band and choir displayed the wonderful talent of the students.

Terrell Wells MS Principal Jessie Gipprich hopes the tradition continues to grow in the future.

“This event is one that truly brings the community together. It is a time that everyone can enjoy one another and build bonds between the teachers and the parents,” Gipprich said. “Many parents and students volunteered their time at different booths, which builds citizenship and demonstrates leadership. It was an effort of every staff member and a true display of teamwork.”

Way to go, Trojans!
