Fox 29/35 KABB San Antonio’s Ernie Zuniga, Breanna Barrs and Brad Sowder visited Adams Elementary Tuesday morning to surprise Pre-K Michelle Hawkins and Fifth-grade Teacher Sonia Prosser with four dozens of Taco Cabana tacos.
Parents nominated the teachers through social media as part of Fox’s “Teacher Taco Tuesday” segment, where every week a teacher is nominated for making a difference in the classroom, school and community.
“They both deserve to recognized,” Adams Elementary Principal Leticia Cerda-Rodriguez said. “They are both dedicated teachers who go above and beyond for their students every day.”
