Proud eighth-grade students from Harlandale MS, Leal MS, Terrell Wells MS and Kingsborough MS celebrated their journey to high school during the 2019 Bridging Ceremonies on May 29-30.

The auditoriums at Harlandale HS and McCollum HS were filled with excitement as students with A/B Honor Roll and perfect attendance were recognized for their outstanding achievement.

During the ceremony, all eighth-graders present pledged to continue their education and graduate from high school. Administrators, teachers, families and friends cheered for every eighth-grade Class of 2019.

“We are excited to see the academic success our eighth-graders have had this year,” Harlandale ISD Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction said. “We look forward to their continued success at hour high schools over the next four years. Congratulations on a job well done.”

Students and their families also enjoyed a special video commemorating their three years of middle school.

Following the ceremonies, families and students reunited to take photos with celebratory balloons and flowers to remember this special milestone.

Congratulations, future Cowboys and Indians!
