McCollum High School Automotive and Technology students participated in the Skill USA State Competition in Corpus Christi April 6-7.
A total of six students earned first place ribbons and earned a plaque for “Multiple Superior Rating” for Single Engine Rebuild.

Moreover, the automotive lab recently received a NATEF accreditation after being recertified earlier this spring.
“This accreditation looks good for the school, the district and the students can be assured this is something that meets national standards,” Auto Tech Instructor George Garcia said.
