Ms. Annie Lopez grew up on the southside of San Antonio and always desired to become an educator. She graduated from Incarnate Word University and began her teaching career. She served HISD at McCollum HS for over 10 years. Most recently she completed a masters program from Texas A&M University San Antonio and is looking forward to serving Terrell Wells as an Assistant Principal. 

 

Anxiously awaiting Ms. Lopez at home is her trophy husband (hope he does not read this), son (when he's not gaming or online with college), daughter and her family calling from their stationed army base, and granddaughter (waiting to play barbies on Facetime). 

 

Although there have been many uncertainties and changes, the one thing that is constant is change. Ms. Lopez believes that change is to be expected and accepted. We are all in this together and we can embrace the change together to achieve our goals.
