Hello Gillette Family!

My name is Jennifer Cobb.  I am the Counselor here at Gillette Elementary School.

This is my fifth year serving as Counselor at Gillette, and my fourteenth year working at H.I.S.D.  During my teaching years, I worked at Adams Elementary School here in H.I.S.D.  As a child, I grew up 0.6 miles from Gillette and graduated from McCollum High School.  I am a wife, a mommy, and I have the best job in the whole-wide world!  

My life's passion is helping young children through crisis and grief.  In 2008, as a young mother and teacher, the death of my first husband threw me into a passionate search toward helping young children (my own at the time) who were experiencing great pain and desperately needed guidance.  This began my career in working with and for children and families toward healing.
