¡Hola! Bienvenidos a primer grado. Mi nomobre es Alejandra Galván y estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de su hijo(a). Soy una graduada orgullosa de Texas A&M University Kingsville. Este será mi año 16 como maestra. Me encanta enseñaries a mis alumnos porque me recuerdan a mi cuando era pequeña. Desde niña yo quería ser una maestra de español o maestra de una clase bilingüe. La razón es porque yo crecí hablando español y aprendí el inglés en la escuela. Entiendo cómo se sienten mis alumnos cuando están aprendiendo un nuevo idioma por primera vez. Me encanta pasar tiempo con mi esposo y nuestros cuatro hermosos hijos. Espero ver a su hijo crecer académicamente este año tanto en español como en inglés.

Hi! Welcome to first grade. My name is Alejandra Galvan and I am very excited to be your child's teacher. I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University Kingsville. This will be my 16th year as a teacher. I love to teach because my students remind me of when I was a little girl trying to learn a second language. As a child I wanted to be a Spanish teacher or teacher of a bilingual class. The reason is because I grew up speaking Spanish and learned English at school. I understand how my students feel when they are learning a new language for the first time. I love to spend time with my husband and our four beautiful children. I look forward to witnessing your child grow this year academically in both the Spanish and English language.
