Ms. Garcia attended Collier Elementary, where she most recently served as Principal for six years, Harlandale MS, and Harlandale HS. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Bi-lingual / Bi-cultural Teacher Education from UTSA and has dedicated 24 years to educating Harlandale children.

She and Michael, her husband of 33 years, have raised two children and have been blessed with two grandchildren. In her spare time, Ms. Garcia enjoys sharing her gardening and cooking secrets with her grandchildren.
