As a member of the Harlandale community, I am super excited to be a part of the mighty Apache Family here at Leal Middle School. I have worked at Harlandale ISD for 20 years. After 19 years as a middle school science teacher and football coach, I am excited to serve in a new role as the Assistant Principal for Discipline here at Leal. I am passionate about serving my community and I am committed to helping our students with their educational endeavors and to teach our students the importance of becoming a productive citizen and pursuing higher education.
My educational journey started here at Harlandale ISD. After graduating from High school I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and recently finished my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.
On a personal note, I have been a husband for 20 years to a beautiful wife, Dr. Jessica Quintero, who is a graduate from Harlandale High School. I have an amazing son who is a sophomore at St. Mary's University and a beautiful daughter who is a senior and will be attending Incarnate Word University in the fall.
There is no other place I would rather be! I am looking forward to meeting many of the parents in our community and building lasting relationships with the Mighty Leal Apache students and helping the Harlandale community thrive and grow.
