Hi, my name is Jana Heise, (pronounced high-zuh). I am a first-year teacher and recently moved to the United States from Germany. I speak German, English, French, and some Spanish. I am  the new classroom teacher for Room 105 in the HOPS program and am looking forward to working on functional work and life skills with my students this year. Some of the activities we will be doing this year include: working on basic hygiene skills, going on community walks, cooking delicious recipes, performing household chores, and working in the garden. We will also be learning to create products, such as jewelry, custom designed t-shirts, candles, leather products and dog biscuits.
