Hello!

My name is Amber Avila and grew up on the  south side of San Antonio. I am new teacher to McCollum High School but stranger to HISD. As an alumni of Harlandale High, I am grateful to be given the oppurtunity to give back to my community the wonderful knowledged it gave me. I graduted with my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Incarnate Word in 2020 and this is ,y first year as a Special Education teacher!
