My name is Juan C. (JC) Soliz.  I am starting my 15th year
in education this school year, ten of which have been with
Harlandale ISD.  I started my career as a teacher in my
hometown of Alice, Texas as an English teacher, where
I taught for four years.  I was also  an English teacher at   
the Harlandale Alternative Center for the next four years.
For the past six I was an Assistant Principal at
Kingsborough Middle School.

My number one goal as an educator is to have all students
able to read at or above their grade level. I will do my best
to support all of the  staff so that we can achieve this
goal together.
