I'm excited to be the school counselor at the Harlandale Alternative Center. I was born and raised on the Southside of San Antonio.  I graduated from McCollum High School then attended the University of Texas at San Antonio.  I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and quickly began teaching middle school math for grades 6-8.  During that time, I continued attending UTSA in the evening and earned my Master of Arts Degree in School Counseling.  After graduating, I began teaching high school math at McCollum HS for almost 10 years.  I have been the school counselor at HAC for about 8 years now.  I enjoy working with our youth with their academics as well as social and emotional life skills.
