Scott Jenrette

Mr. Scott Jenrette was born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island.  He moved with his family to Jacksonville, Florida in 1982.  He joined the US Air Force and reported to basic training on September 11, 1984.  He served 25 years as a Logistics Manager and First Sergeant, retiring on September 30, 2009.  Mr. Jenrette became a teacher in August 2013 and has worked at the Harlandale Alternative Center (HAC) ever since.  Mr. Jenrette is married and has seven children.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management through The University of Maryland Global Campus and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies through The University of Texas at San Antonio.  His educational certifications include Principal, Special Education, and 4-8 Generalist.  Mr. Jenrette was the 2016-2017 HAC Teacher of the Year.  Mr. Jenrette enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, Ohio State Buckeyes and the Boston Red Sox.
