Harlandale MS Welcomes New Principal

HISD ANNOUNCES NEW HARLANDALE MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL 

 

San Antonio- June 30, 2020 HISD WELCOMES NEW PRINCIPAL AT HARLANDALE MIDDLE SCHOOL 

 

Dr. Juan Hinojosa will serve as the principal at Harlandale Middle School for the 2020-2021 school year. 

 

Dr. Hinojosa has over 20 years of experience in education. Most recently he was the assistant principal at Harlandale High School. His other previous roles include, higher education teacher at Texas A&M in San Antonio, Athletic coordinator and Head Football Coach at McCollum High School. 

 

“Dr. Hinojosa has been a great leader for our students at Harlandale ISD and we are excited to see him on this new role at Harlandale Middle School where we are sure he will continue to help our students achieve their educational goals,” said Harlandale ISD’s Superintendent Gerardo Soto. 

 

“I am extremely proud and excited to have been named the principal of Harlandale Middle School. I look forward to building on the past successes by working closely with the faculty, staff, parents, and most importantly, our students. I want to ensure that we continue moving forward as a campus and that our students benefit from the positive climate and culture of our school,”  Hinojosa said. 

 

Dr. Hinojosa will kick-off the 2020-2021 school year scheduled to begin Aug. 5. He will begin working this summer with his new staff.
