Terrell Wells MS Welcomes New Principal

HISD ANNOUNCES NEW TERRELL WELLS MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

SAN ANTONIO-JULY 9, 2020 HISD WELCOMES NEW PRINCIPAL AT TERRELL WELLS MIDDLE SCHOOL

Ms. Osana Charles will serve as the principal at Terrell Wells Middle School for the 2020-2021 school year.

Ms. Charles has over 10 years of experience in education. Most recently she was the academic dean at Southside High School. Some of her other roles include, assistant principal, Spanish teacher and coach.

“We are excited to welcome Ms. Charles to our Harlandale ISD family. We know that she will be a great asset and she will continue to lead our Terrell Wells students and staff towards excellence,” said Harlandale ISD’s Superintendent Gerardo Soto.

Ms. Charles holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Texas A&M University, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University and she is currently working on her Superintendent certification from Angelo State University.

“I am overjoyed and humbled for this opportunity to serve the Harlandale ISD community as Principal of TWMS. In such trying times, I hope to ease the transition to what has become our “new normal” by supporting our students, faculty and the entire Terrell Wells family this school year and for years to come. Thank you all for the warm welcome! I look forward to contributing to the success of Harlandale ISD,” said Ms. Charles.

Ms. Charles will kick off the 2020-2021 school year scheduled to begin August 5. She will be meeting with her staff in the next couple of weeks to prepare for a successful school year.
