Meet the Principals
Dr. Anthony Ali Khosravi is the new principal at Bellaire Elementary School in the Harlandale Independent School District. This is his 16th year in education and originally began teaching Television and Radio Broadcasting at a Fine Arts Academy in Edgewood Independent School District.
Dr. Khosravi pursued his Masters in Educational Administration in the hopes of having a bigger impact on the educational system as an administrative leader. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree in the area of Leadership Studies through Our Lady of the Lake University in 2020. A native of San Antonio, Dr. Khosravi is focused on the improvement of the academic and social emotional support of every child under his leadership through the empowerment of the leadership in teachers, staff and community members.
Mrs. Ronnica Toscano has been selected as the new principal of Rayburn Elementary. She is truly honored to lead the campus and looks forward to working with all the great students, parents and educators to achieve success!
She is proud to say she was born and raised in the Harlandale Independent School District where she attended Schulze Elementary, Kingsbrough Middle School and McCollum High School. She is committed to providing students high quality education in a positive environment where everyone feels accepted.
Mrs. Toscano has sixteen years of educational experience. She has served as the academic dean for Rayburn Elementary and Wright Elementary. She was a classroom teacher at Collier Elementary where she taught 1st grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade. She is confident that her experience and education will contribute to the ongoing success of the students, families and staff at Rayburn Elementary.
Leslie Ramirez will serve as the new principal of Vestal Elementary. In her 21 years in education, she began at Schulze Elementary as a 4th grade teacher, worked for Northside ISD, and later returned to Harlandale ISD as an Academic Coach and later an Academic Dean at Vestal.
Ms. Ramirez earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio and her Masters in Administration Leadership from Lamar University.
She feels honored and humbled to be serving in this position and is looking forward to welcoming back students to Vestal and the Harlandale community.
