The McCollum High School football team has plenty to celebrate following two recent recognitions!
The Cowboys were named the Texas Sports Productions and Raul B. Rodriguez Law, P.C. Football Team of the Week following an impressive district victory. Head Coach Wilkinson and linebacker/running back Justin Barrientos were featured in an interview discussing the team's performance, what the win means and their goals for the remainder of district play.
Adding to the celebration, Barrientos was also recognized by KENS 5 and Great Day SA as an All-Star Athlete, sponsored by Vulcan Materials Company. The recognition highlights Justin's accomplishments as a student-athlete and his representation of McCollum High School both on and off the field.
With the Cowboys remaining undefeated in district play, these recognitions add to an impressive football season for McCollum High School.
Congratulations to Justin, Coach Wilk and the entire McCollum football team on these well-deserved honors! Keep making the Harlandale Legacy proud, Cowboys!
