As we Sail into Greatness Together, we are encouraging our students to discover the treasure of reading! Beginning this Monday and running throughout the school year, students in K-5th grade may receive a Treasure Ticket whenever a staff member catches them reading independently. Students can bring their tickets to the library to receive a small prize and be entered into a weekly grade-level drawing for an extra special treasure. There is no limit to the number of tickets students can earn! We hope this initiative inspires our students to read wherever they go and reminds them that the greatest treasure isn’t buried—it’s found in books!
