We are excited to announce our annual Bike Rodeo, which will take place on Thursday, October 8th, in the back parking lot off Robert E. Lee. We look forward to providing our students with a fun and safe experience while developing their biking skills! Please review the important information below:
Permission Slips
Permission slips were sent home during the week of September 14th. All permission slips must be returned to the PE coaches no later than Friday, October 2nd for students to participate in the Bike Rodeo.
Bike Drop-Off Information
Students may begin bringing their bikes to the back parking lot starting at 7:00 a.m. A sign-in table will be available for parents and guardians to register their child's bike. The back parking lot will be closed to regular traffic that morning and will only be accessible to families dropping off bikes. All bikes must be dropped off at the back of the school. Bike drop-off and pick-up will not be permitted at the front entrance.
Parent Attendance
Parents and guardians are welcome to attend the Bike Rodeo! If you plan to join us, please make sure to sign in at the table located in the back parking lot near the Bike Rodeo.
Bike Pick-Up
Parents and guardians may sign out their child's bike at the following times:
After the event: Bikes may be picked up in the gym.
Later that afternoon: Bikes may be picked up from 3:50–4:30 p.m. at the back of the school in the gym.
Please remember to sign out your child's bike when picking it up.
Special Bike Trick Demonstration
We are excited to welcome Mr. Bobby Burge, who will be showcasing some amazing bike tricks beginning at 8:30 a.m. If you would like to see his exciting bike demonstration, we encourage you to arrive early, before your son or daughter participates in the Bike Rodeo. You won't want to miss it!
