The Harlandale High School football team is making headlines following a big week of recognition!
The Indians were named Team of the Week, while standout player Armando Munoz earned KENS 5's Play of the Week for his impressive 91-yard kickoff return during Harlandale's 49-7 victory over Jefferson High School on Oct. 2.
Adding to the celebration, the Indians also earned a spot in the San Antonio Express-News football power rankings for the first time this season, following their fourth consecutive district victory.
Both Harlandale and McCollum High School remain undefeated in district play, giving Harlandale ISD plenty to celebrate this football season!
The Indians have a bye this week before returning to the field Friday, Oct. 16, to take on Highlands High School.
Congratulations to our Harlandale Indians on these well-deserved recognitions! Keep making the Harlandale Legacy proud!
