As the band prepares for its second UIL competition this Saturday, we’re taking you behind the scenes to meet some of the sections that bring the show to life.
Next up: Percussion!
They describe their section in three words: loud, crazy, and exciting!
Their funniest rehearsal moments? They love cracking jokes and somehow finding a way to work “Juan” into them since they have not one, but TWO Juans in the section!
And when it’s time to get focused and get to work, Elijah Elizondo is the one who keeps the section on track.
Stay tuned as we continue spotlighting the Million Dollar Band from Indian Land as they head into competition!

As the band prepares for its second UIL competition this Saturday, we’re taking you behind the scenes to meet some of the sections that bring the show to life.
First up: Color Guard and Drum Majors!
Our Color Guard describes their section in three words: cool, colorful, and fun. They’re especially proud of Makayla Serrano’s solo and the ballad pre show. This Saturday, they’re bringing more experience, energy, and technique to the competition field.
Our Drum Majors are most proud of the “Room to Move” movement of the show. Cassandra Correa is the one who keeps everyone focused when it’s time to work. They say one of the hardest parts of being a Drum Major is having patience and handling all the emotions that come with leading the band.
Stay tuned as we spotlight more of the Million Dollar Band from Indian Land as they head into competition!

Our 7th and 8th grade athletes showed they’re not afraid of a little competition, and the future of Harlandale volleyball is looking bright!
Big things are ahead for these young athletes. We can’t wait to see them continue to grow and, one day take the court as Indians!
____
