Every individual student in the District has a dedicated device. Students PreK-1 are issued Apple iPads. Grade Two through Grade Twelve students are issued Chromebooks. Every student has access to either Harlandale/City of San Antonio custom LTE wireless access or mobile carrier-based access to the Internet.

Every teacher is issued a laptop computer that connects to a ceiling-mounted projector/document camera/digital whiteboard.

To support this hardware, Harlandale ISD was one of the first school Districts in Bexar county to have a dark-fiber backbone.
