The Teacher Orientation & Preparation Program (TOPP) Residency provides a pathway into the teaching profession.
TOPP has partnered with Harlandale ISD to offer a residency program that provides hands-on classroom experience alongside a mentor teacher while participants work toward teacher certification.
Harlandale ISD is currently seeking residents in the following areas:
Special Education
Bilingual Education
Secondary Science
Secondary Math
Secondary English
An in-person information session will be held for qualified and interested candidates at the Harlandale ISD Central Office on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Representatives from Ready to Work and TeachSA will also be present to provide additional program information.
Applicants who select Harlandale ISD on their TOPP application will have their application fee waived.
