Dear Harlandale ISD Families,
Harlandale ISD is closely monitoring the potential for heavy rain and severe weather in our area Thursday and Friday. At this time, there are no changes to the school schedule.
District leadership participated in calls with the National Weather Service and the City of San Antonio today to receive the latest information about the forecast and potential impacts to our area. While widespread rainfall is expected, some areas could experience periods of heavier rain. We will continue monitoring conditions as the forecast develops.
We are also monitoring conditions for outdoor games and activities scheduled Thursday, Oct. 1 and Friday, Oct. 2. Any changes or cancellations will be communicated directly to affected families and staff.
We encourage families to stay aware, monitor local conditions and follow guidance from local emergency management officials. Please use caution when traveling and never attempt to drive through flooded roadways.
If weather conditions require any changes to school operations, Harlandale ISD will notify families and staff as soon as possible through ParentSquare, social media and our website, www.harlandale.net.
Thank you for your continued cooperation as we monitor the weather and prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
