We understand that rumors about a potential threat to local school districts are circulating again today. Please rest assured that nothing has changed since our last district update. The threat remains unsubstantiated and not specific to any one campus.
Our Harlandale ISD Police Department, along with local law enforcement and the Southwest Texas Fusion Center, continues to monitor the situation closely. As of now, no credible threat has been identified against our district.
We remain committed to the safety of our students and staff and will provide updates if necessary.

Just a reminder that our campus is being recognized at the HHS football game tomorrow night! Tickets can be purchased from the Athletic office or at the gate and are $8 for adults and $3 for kids 6yo and up. Wear your GREEN Adams spirit shirts and show the whole community that we are the BEST elementary school around! Look for the Adams sign so that we can all sit together.
The game starts at 7pm on September 12th at Harlandale Memorial Stadium.

At 11 a.m. there will be a press conference featuring Mayor Ron Nirenberg, Elena Wells (Executive Director, SALOC), Jenny Carnes (President & CEO, SA Sports), Spurs Sports & Entertainment and Lori Houston of the City Manager’s Office to officially welcome the Men’s Final Four Fan Jam. Be sure to stick around for a celebrity hoops game at 11:30 a.m.
The lockdown drill is now over. The campus has returned to its usual business.
Attention parents: We are practicing a lockdown drill. No one will be able to exit or enter the building for the next 30 minutes. Again, this is just a drill, there is no threat to the campus.

On Thursday, September 12th, the Harlandale Indians will take on Edison. During the game, Adams Elementary will be recognized on the big screen! We want to show our community how AWESOME we are and that we show up for our team!

We will continue using Dojo for the next week as all parents transition over to Rooms. On Monday, September 16th, Dojo will be going offline and we will make the full switch over to Rooms.
Our 3rd graders were our winners today for the second time in a row! Remember, every week we keep track of the grade level with the best attendance. Every student in the winning grade level receives a prize on the following Monday. Today our winners received nachos!
