Our January school calendar is here and it’s packed with fun events, important dates, and exciting activities for our students and families! Be sure to check it out and mark your calendars — it’s going to be a great month! 💛🎉

Thank you to everyone who helped make our December Mobile Food Pantry a success!

Together with San Antonio Food Bank, we distributed more than 33,000 pounds of food, including fresh produce, and served 368 families across our community.

A special shout out to our students along with our dedicated community volunteers who made it all happen. We’re grateful to continue supporting our families and strengthening our community one pantry at a time.

🎉🍎 Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, 5th Grade Dual Language Teacher, Mrs. Hinojosa-Perez! This recognition is so well deserved—thank you for your dedication, passion, and commitment to our students!

🎶🎄 Spreading holiday cheer! Our ALE class went around singing Christmas carols and bringing smiles wherever they went. What a joyful way to celebrate the season!

What a day of music, culture and community!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Harlandale ISD Mariachi Festival at McCollum High School. Students from across our elementary, middle and high schools filled the day with incredible performances, showcasing the talent, pride and tradition of our mariachi programs.
Families enjoyed great music, food and time together as we celebrated our students and the rich cultural roots that make Harlandale ISD so special. We’re grateful for our musicians, directors, staff and community for making this event such a success and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

Don't forget tomorrow is our last day before Winter Break and it's an early release day! Please make arrangements for pickup.

Harlandale ISD Student & Family Engagement Center proudly hosted Family Build a Bike Night in partnership with Earnabike S.A. Families from Gillette and Bellaire Elementary came together to celebrate the completion of an eight-week program by building brand-new bikes, each equipped with lights, locks and helmets.

We are deeply grateful to the volunteers and bike mechanics who generously donated their time and expertise, guiding our families through every step of the build. Thanks to their support, the evening became a meaningful and empowering experience filled with teamwork, joy and accomplishment.

Our Middle Schools took learning beyond the classroom at the 15th Annual CORE4STEM Expo hosted by the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at Port San Antonio.

Students connected with major employers and educators like Toyota, Boeing, H-E-B, Alamo Colleges and CPS Energy to explore real-world STEM opportunities in robotics, engineering and technology.
