Collier staff would like to thank all the families that joined us last night for our open house! We had a wonderful turn out and had an even better Grandparents' day presentation by the Kinder and Fist graders.

Say Yes project was at Collier today handing out school supplies to our students. UTSA ladies soccer team members were here to assist in the distribution of the boxes. The students were all smiles as they saw the supplies in their boxes from pencils and glue to folders and spirals. What a great way to start off the 25-26 school year!

Under Texas House Bill 1481, students may not have cell phones or other electronic devices out or in use during school hours. Our updated Electronic Devices Violation Consequence Matrix outlines what happens if this policy is violated, including progressive consequences for repeated offenses or non-compliance.
Please take a moment to review the matrix below and talk with your child about the expectations. Together, we can help create a focused, distraction-free learning environment.

Monday, May 19th was career day at Collier. Our students got to listen and learn about many different career paths. They got to listen to restaurant owners, barbers, chefs, SAPD, SAFD, electricians, a Navy serviceman, fitness coaches, a DJ, a personal trainer and even a dog trainer. Our students enjoyed their morning and asked lots of great questions.
Thank you to all the professionals that came out to talk to our kids!!!! We appreciate your time and commitment.

Today our K-2nd graders enjoyed Field day activities. From obstacle courses to some splashing activities, the students definitely enjoyed their time outside!
Collier would also like to thank the girls athletics from Harlandale HS for volunteering and helping make our stations fun!

During the month of April, the city brings awareness to childhood abuse and neglect through the Cardboard Kids Program. The clock is ticking!
Our 2025 Cultural Arts Fair Cover Design Contest is still open, but the deadline is quickly approaching! This year's theme, "Mosaic of Cultures | Mosaico de Culturas," was inspired by 1st grade student Bradley Gonzales. Whether it’s a construction paper mosaic, painted tiles, or even photography, encourage your child to get creative and submit their artwork.
Don't miss the chance for your child's design to be featured on this year's Cultural Arts program cover!

Today Collier celebrated 100 days of school. Some students chose to wear 100 items on their shirts and others chose to dress like a one hundred year old. Even some of the staff member joined in the fun!

Last Friday Collier held their perfect attendance dance.
