FREE summer meals will be available for all children 18 years old and younger. Meals must be eaten on campus, and no grab-and-go or parent pickup will be available.

Pre-Kinder dismissal is at 11:35 a.m. and the elementary students are released at 11:45 a.m.
Today, the Harlandale ISD community came together for our Memorial Day Ceremony to honor and remember members of our community who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us in reflection as we paid tribute to their courage, service and lasting legacy. Their sacrifice and dedication will never be forgotten.
A special thank you to the Harlandale JROTC, McCollum Trumpeters and Gillette Elementary Choir for their contributions to today’s ceremony.

May is a busy month at Gillette! Attendance is key to participating in the activities planned for this month. Students should make every effort to be present every day. Parents, please try to make appointments after 10:00 a.m. so your child is counted present every day.

Zoo Crew is similar to the "Stuff-a-Bear" layout in the mall stores EXCEPT they are mobile and will come to Gillette Elementary in their unique mobile zoo.
