A message from our Principal, Mrs. Wing!! 🚨Please Read🚨 Mustang Parents, It is hard to believe it, but we are entering the final month of this school year! Although the year is almost ending, there is still a lot of learning to do to prepare our students for the next school year. We cannot stress enough how important daily attendance is for your child's success. Next Friday, May 9th, we will be having our Field Day for Kinder through 5th grade. In order for your child to participate in field day, he/she must be present at school every day, Monday, May 5th through Thursday, May 8th. If your child misses school on any day next week, you must provide a written excuse (doctor note or parent note) to excuse their absence(s). Any unexcused absences will result in removal of the opportunity to participate in Field Day. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that your child is at school every day and that he/she does not miss out on field day. El próximo viernes 9 de mayo tendremos nuestro Día de Campo para los estudiantes de Kinder a 5º grado. Para que su hijo(a) pueda participar en el Día de Campo, debe estar presente en la escuela todos los días, desde el lunes 5 de mayo hasta el jueves 8 de mayo. Si su hijo(a) falta a la escuela cualquier día de la próxima semana, debe proporcionar una excusa por escrito (nota del doctor o nota del padre/madre) para justificar la ausencia. Cualquier ausencia sin justificar resultará en la pérdida de la oportunidad de participar en el Día de Campo. Reminder: Tomorrow is the Math STAAR Test for 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade! Please make sure your child arrives at school on time by 7:40 AM, and do not send backpacks (lunch bags are allowed). Helpful Reminders: • Ensure your child gets a good night’s rest. • Arrive by 7:40 AM. • Encourage your child to do their best! • No backpacks allowed (lunch bags are fine). • All electronic devices (phones, smartwatches, etc.) will be collected in the morning and returned at the end of the day.
