Mustang Parents! Harlandale ISD will host it's first Mobile Food Pantry of the school year on Tuesday, September 17th at Harlandale Memorial Stadium. Food distribution will begin at 9 am or as soon as the truck has been unloaded. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and only while supplies last.
Thanks to all of the Mustang Grandparents and family members who came to our Grandparents Day Lunches this week! It was fantastic to see everyone! We hope you all know how important you are to our students' success! Happy Grandparents Day to all!

Mustang Families! Please join us on Wednesday, September 4th from 5:30-7:00 pm for Open House! We will be starting the evening with a presentation in the cafeteria. After the presentation, you will be able to visit your child's classroom, shop the book fair, and pre-order your Gilbert Spirit Shirt! We hope to see everyone there!
In celebration of Grandparent's Day, we are inviting all Grandparents to come have lunch with their grandchild(ren). The schedule for lunches is as follows:

2nd Grade- 11:15-11:45 am,
Thursday, September 5th--
1st Grade- 10:45-11:15 am,
4th Grade- 12:25-12:55 pm,
Friday, September 6th--
3rd Grade- 11:45- 12:15 pm,
5th Grade- 1:10-1:40 pm.
Grandparents may bring outside food in to share with their grandchild(ren). Grandparents will also have an opportunity to take their grandchild(ren) shopping at the Book Fair.
All visitors should park in the back parking lot and enter through the back doors by the gym. Please note that Pre-Kinder will not be participating in this event.
Join us for our August Parent Coffee on Friday, August 30th at 8:30 am at Gilbert Elementary! We will be sharing information about upcoming events, discussing the School/Parent Compact, and providing opportunities for questions. Refreshments will be provided and we will have a raffle for HEB gift cards.
