Harlandale High School JROTC cadets participated in San Antonio's annual El Grito celebration. The event included live Mexican music, folkloric dancers, and food and craft vendor booths. The event culminated in the "El Grito" civic ceremony which was hosted by the Consulate General of Mexico in San Antonio. There were several prominent city and county leaders that attended the event which included the city mayor (Ron Nirenberg), a city council representative, and county judge (Peter Sakai).
