Required Seventh Grade Immunizations for the 2025-2026 School Year. Dear Parents/Guardians of Upcoming Seventh Grade Students in Texas Schools: This is a reminder to get your seventh grader vaccinated early before the busy back-to-school rush. State law requires one dose of the meningococcal conjugate (MCV4) vaccine and one dose of the tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccine for all students attending Seventh-12th grades. During the 89th Texas Legislative Session, Governor Greg Abbott signed House Bill 1481 into law. This law limits student use of personal communication devices— including cell phones, smartwatches and headphones— during the instructional day at all Texas public schools.
Harlandale ISD will enforce these state-mandated guidelines at the start of the 2025–26 school year. Families are encouraged to talk with their child about the new expectations and how to be prepared for the first day of school.

Harlandale ISD joined city officials this morning to celebrate the grand opening of the Next Level Urgent Care facility at City Base San Antonio.

Through our partnership with Next Level Prime, staff and their families have unlimited access to high-quality medical care to support their health and well-being year-round.

A big thank you to the McCollum High School Mariachi for an incredible performance. Welcome to the Southside, Next Level Urgent Care. We’re excited for what this means for our community!
