The 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are going head-to-head in a Food Drive to help families in need this Thanksgiving! 🏆
How It Works:
Each grade will compete to bring in the most food donations! The grade with the most donations wins a special prize and bragging rights! 🎉
What We Need:
✨ Canned Goods (corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, etc.)
✨ Stuffing & Instant Mashed Potatoes
✨ Boxed Mac & Cheese
✨ Cake Mixes & Frosting
✨ Gravy, Canned Sweet Potatoes, & More!
Drop-Off Location:
📍 Donations can be dropped off in the main lobby by Monday, Nov. 18th!

Honoring our Veterans
We invite any veteran in our HMS community, to join our Veterans Day hall parade tomorrow at 3pm. HMS would like to recognize and honor all veterans as part of our Veterans Day observance at Harlandale Middle School.
If you wish to participate, come by the front office, sign-in, and you will be escorted to the start of the hall parade.

We just had an awesome Vaping Awareness Presentation with Officer Crisp from HISD Police & Ms. Pena of Pupil Personnel ! 🙌 They shared eye-opening info about the dangers of vaping, including what to watch for and how secondhand vape exposure can affect our kids. 💨😷

A huge congrats and great job goes out to our HMS Choir members that performed at the 2024 Region XI Honor Choir Clinic/Concert this past Saturday at Southwest Legacy High School. They represented the HMS Choir program and HMS with professionalism, hard work and musical artistry.
