Thank you to everyone who joined us for our inaugural Winter Mariachi Festival! Attendees spent the entire day enjoying the sounds of Mariachi music as students from our Elementary, Middle and High school campuses showcased their incredible talents. Families also enjoyed a festive day of games, food and local vendors—all while celebrating the holiday season Mariachi style! We’re so grateful for our amazing community’s support and can’t wait to see you next year!

We're gearing up for our 2025 Cultural Arts Fair and we need our students’ creativity to help us name the theme! This annual event celebrates cultural awareness, creativity, and fun for the entire Harlandale community. All Harlandale ISD students are invited to participate in the Name the Theme Contest, and the winning entry will set the tone for this year’s Cultural Arts Fair & Parade. Students can scan the QR code or visit harlandale.net/NameTheTheme to submit their idea. We can’t wait to see the amazing themes our students come up with!

A huge thank-you to Walmart for sponsoring our Harlandale Police Department's 'Shop with a Cop' shopping spree! A lucky group of students had an unforgettable time picking out their favorite items while spending quality time with our Harlandale Police Officers. Santa even made a surprise visit at the end! #HarlandaleLegacy

Our Basketball Frontier Bowl games were a thrilling showcase of skill, energy and heart! Players from both sides left it all on the court, and provided our community two unforgettable games filled with excitement and incredible plays. Congratulations to our very own Giada Navaira for making history with the KENS5 Play of the Year! The award is extra special as it marks the first time a cheerleader has ever received this recognition. A big shoutout to her family, friends and teammates for making the surprise visit to her campus truly unforgettable. Way to represent your District! #HarlandaleLegacy

McCollum High School’s inaugural Tree Lighting Event brightened up the season in the most festive way! Guests enjoyed performances by the high school Mariachi and choir, a DIY ornament station, and comforting cups of hot chocolate. It was truly a night filled with holiday cheer and community spirit! #HarlandaleLegacy

Leal Middle School's talented thespians took us on a nostalgic journey back to our middle school days with their performance of M.G. Davidson's 'The Best/Worst Things About Middle School.' Our talented students had the audience laughing, reminiscing and reacting with plenty of 'oohs' and 'aahs.' Thank you to all the parents, students and friends who came out to support these dedicated young performers. Your support means the world to them! #HarlandaleLegacy

Our students had a blast at Bandera Bowling Center recently as they took part in the Special Olympics Area Bowling Tournament! From strikes to spares, our students gave it their all and had smiles on their faces the entire time. Thank you to our amazing parents, volunteers and staff for making this event such a special and memorable experience for our students! @HarlandaleLegacy
